Hwange Colliery F.C. (formerly known as Wankie Colliery F.C.) is a Hwange-based Premier Soccer League club,formed during the building of the railway line from Bulawayo to the Victoria Falls, in 1893. Albert Geese played a certain game kicking a round like object with his feet after work much to the awe of the local population who had never had contact with football.
