The Indiana Derby is an American thoroughbred horse race that was run annually since 1995 at Hoosier Park in Anderson, Indiana. It is the racetrack's signature event offering its current highest purse at $500,000. As of the 2013 meet it has been held at Indiana Downs in Shelbyville, Indiana.A Grade II event, the Derby is for three-year-olds of either gender set at a distance of 8 and one half furlongs on the dirt.
