She is trained by Jonathan E. Sheppard and owned by George W. Strawbridge, Jr.'s Augustin Stable.Informed Decision is the first Grade I winner for her sire Monarchos. She has to date won the Grades 1 Humana Distaff Handicap, Vinery Madison Stakes and the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint.
