The International Union of Psychological Science, abbreviated IUPsyS or the Union, is the global umbrella organization for psychology. The Unions president is Saths Cooper of South Africa, and the vice-president is Tor Levin Hofgaard of Norway both of which were elected in 2012.Founded in 1950, IUPsyS represents around one million psychologists worldwide.
