Interstate 22 (I-22) is an Interstate highway that, upon completion, will follow the U.S. Route 78 (US 78) corridor on a 213-mile-long (343 km) route from Memphis, Tennessee, to Birmingham, Alabama. I-22 will connect I-240, I-40, I-55, and I-69 (indirectly) in the northwest with I-65 and (indirectly) I-20/I-59 in the southeast.
