Ira Sebastian Elliot (born March 21, 1963, in New York City) is the drummer of the NYC band Nada Surf. He was named after Ira Gershwin and Johann Sebastian Bach. He began playing the drums at 11, in his middle-school's band.He also appeared in Stoned, a 1980 ABC Afterschool Special starring Scott Baio.
