Francis Israel Regardie (née Regudy; November 17, 1907 – March 10, 1985), known simply as Israel Regardie /ˈɪzriəl rɨˈɡɑrdi/, was an occultist, a writer, and Aleister Crowley's personal secretary and transcriptionist, widely known for his books and commentaries on the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
