Jack Deth is the main protagonist in the Trancers films, produced by Charles Band of Empire Pictures and later Full Moon Entertainment, from 1985–2013.The Trancers franchise started out as an homage to pulp detective novels, with noted similarities to other cult sci-fi movies, such as Blade Runner and The Terminator (the latter of which was released the previous year).
