James Spencer Cleverly (born 4 September 1969) is a British Conservative Party politician. He currently serves as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Braintree, and as the member of the London Assembly for Bexley and Bromley. He was first elected to the assembly in May 2008 and was re-elected in 2012. He won his seat in parliament at the 2015 general election.
