Professor Janek Ratnatunga, FCA is a Sri Lankan born Australian academic. A Professor of Accounting, he is the Head of School of Commerce in University of South Australia and former Chair in Business Accounting at Monash UniversityEducated at the Royal College, Colombo, he went on to gain his MBA and PhD from the University of Bradford. In 2009 he received the American Accounting Association's Impact on Management Accounting Practice Award.
