Jason Wisdom is the former lead vocalist and bass guitarist for the Christian Progressive death metal band Becoming the Archetype signed to Solid State Records and Century Media Records (Europe) formed in 1999 in Dacula, Georgia. Though he was born and raised in a Christian home, he states that he was never committed to Christianity until high school. He considers his music as a form of ministry, but wishes to avoid a "preachy" stereotype.
