Jay La Suer (born January 24, 1940, in Hutchinson, Kansas) is a Republican politician from the state of California.La Suer has a BA in Public Administration from San Diego State University. He was in the Army during 1958–1961, the San Diego police department during 1961–1967, and San Diego County Sheriff's Department from 1970–1994.La Suer was consultant for the Association of Builders and Contractors as Senior Director of Education.
