Jay Rodan was born in Durban, South Africa. His father is Scottish, and he was raised in London, Edinburgh, Africa, India and Canada. He has worked in film and television in the United States, the U.K. and Europe. He has been twice nominated by the Writer's Guild of America, in 2013 and 2014, and he owns a production company producing commercials and stills.
