Gerald "Jerry" Sheindlin (born November 19, 1933) is an American author and television personality. He was a short-lived judge on the television program The People's Court from 1999 to 2000 television season and most of the 2000–01 season before being replaced by Marilyn Milian. Before that, he served on the New York State Supreme Court.
