James J. Buchy (born September 24, 1940) is a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, serving the 84th District since January 2013 Prior to reapportionment he was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Jim Zehringer who left the post to serve in Governor John Kasich's cabinet. At that time the similarly drawn district was numbered as 77. Formerly, he served the same district from 1983 until 2000.
