Jim Samples (born 1963) is an American businessman. He was the general manager and Executive Vice President of Cartoon Network from 2001 to 2007, replacing Betty Cohen. Under his tenure, the Adult Swim block was created and launched and numerous original series premiered. He resigned following the 2007 Boston bomb scare, with Stuart Snyder being his successor.More recently, Samples has served as the President of International for Scripps Networks Interactive.
