"Jimmy Gets High" is a song written and recorded by Canadian artist Daniel Powter. It was released in August 2005 as the third single from his self-titled second album. It followed the single "Free Loop", from the same album. The album sold 500,000 copies, but "Jimmy Gets High" did not fare as well, not charting in the US but charting in Canada. On some sleeve designs of the song, including the UK Promo release, was renamed 'Jimmy'.
