John DeSantis (born January 21, 1977) is a Canadian actor, perhaps best known as Lurch on Fox Family's television of The New Addams Family. This role was originally portrayed by American actor, Ted Cassidy. His other work includes a principal role in Disney's Touchstone Pictures film The 13th Warrior, in which he played a Viking warrior named Ragnar the Dour. He has also appeared in the television series Police Academy. DeSantis is 206 cm (6' 9") tall.
