Johndale C. Solem was an American theoretical physicist (Los Alamos National Laboratory, PhD Yale University).Following the work of physicist Lowell Brown throughout his career and his experiences having worked with Ted Taylor on Project Orion, he developed alternative options for propulsion in a future interstellar probe called Medusa.
