The Justice League, also known as the Justice League of America, is the name of a fictional superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The League's name was later used as the title for their own eponymous series, which has been published for various periods from 1962 until the present (2015). The Justice League was conceived by writer Gardner Fox, and first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #28 (March 1960).
