KGGR is an AM urban contemporary gospel radio station that serves the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, airing only during the Daytime hours on AM 1040 because this station shares the same frequency with "clear channel" station WHO in Des Moines, Iowa. The station could be heard in and around Dallas over FM translator station K273BJ at 102.5 MHz 24 hours a day but that station began simulcasting KTNO 1440. The station has had its gospel format since 1990, and is owned by Mortenson Broadcasting.
