KHB40 (sometimes referred to as Galveston All Hazards) is a NOAA Weather Radio station that serves the coastal communities of Greater Houston and can be heard over 40 miles into the Gulf of Mexico. It is programmed from the National Weather Service forecast office in League City, Texas with its transmitter located in Hitchcock, Texas. The transmitter was previously on top of the American National Insurance building in Galveston.
