The station is currently owned by the Most Reverend Jaime Soto, through licensee Radio Santisimo Sacramento, Inc. The station formerly was an affiliate of ESPN Radio and Fox Sports Radio. On September 24, 2013, the then-KEWE changed their format to adult alternative (still simulcasting KVXX 101.7 FM).
