KYAV-LD is a television station serving the Palm Springs, California area as an AccuWeather affiliate. It broadcasts digitally on VHF channel 12 and owned by News-Press & Gazette Company, owners of sister television stations KESQ, KPSP-LD, KDFX-CD, KCWQ and KUNA. Founded July 25, 1990, KYAV-LD has been previously affiliated with CNC, a Spanish-language news channel based in Colombia, and Mas Musica, the 24-hour Spanish-language music video channel.
