Kevin Faulconer (born January 24, 1967) is the mayor of San Diego, California. He was elected in a special election in February 2014 and will serve the balance of his predecessor's term, through the end of 2016. He was sworn in as mayor on March 3, 2014.Until his election as mayor, Faulconer served as a San Diego City Council member representing City Council District 2.
