Kirsanovsky District (Russian: Кирса́новский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-three in Tambov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,280 square kilometers (490 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Kirsanov (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 21,756 (2010 Census); 23,613 (2002 Census); 24,780 (1989 Census).
