Krnov (Czech pronunciation: [ˈkr̩nof]; Silesian: Karńůw, German: Jägerndorf, Polish: Karniów, Latin: Carnovia) is an Upper Silesian town in the northeastern Czech Republic, in the Moravian-Silesian Region, the District of Bruntál, on the Opava River, near the Polish border.
