Kurt Westerfeld is a software developer who lives in Virginia. He is best known for his work on IBM OS/2 software such as Object Desktop for Stardock and the KWQ/2 News reader client for OS/2.He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990 with a B.S. in computer science.In the early 1990s Westerfeld joined a startup gaming company named Stardock where he was deeply involved in developing Object Desktop for OS/2.
