Kuruvi (English: Sparrow, although the title refers to "Courier") is a 2008 Tamil action film written and directed by Dharani. Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin,the movie stars Vijay, Trisha Krishnan and Suman in the lead roles. Vivek, Ashish Vidyarthi, Manivannan and Malavika played other roles in the movie. Parts of the movie where inspired from movies such as Telugu blockbuster Chatrapathi and Malayalam superhit Vettam.
