Lasam is a municipality in the Province of Cagayan in the Philippines. According to the census of May 1, 2010, the Municipality of Lasam has a population of 36,994 people with 21,391 registered voters. It is classified as a third class municipality in terms of income classification.The town was once a part of the Municipality of Gattaran, that stretches the width of the province and bisected by the Cagayan River.
