Lelant (Cornish: Lannanta) is a village in west Cornwall, England, UK. It is on the west side of the Hayle Estuary, about 2 1⁄2 miles (4.0 km) southeast of St Ives and one mile (1.6 km) west of Hayle. The village is part of St Ives civil parish (meaning that it falls within the parish area of St Ives Town Council) and also in St Ives Parliamentary constituency. The birth, marriage, and death registration district is Penzance. There is a ward (called Lelant and Carbis Bay).
