Level Plains is a small city in Dale County, Alabama, United States. At the 2010 census the population was 2,085. It is part of the Ozark micropolitan statistical area.Mayor Bruce Grantham is the current and eighth mayor to serve since the city, then a town, was incorporated on April 30, 1965. Grantham previously served as the fifth mayor from 1998 to 2004.
