Liga Desportiva de Maputo, is a Mozambican football (soccer) club based in Maputo that plays in the top division of Mozambican football, Moçambola. They have won the 1st league title in 2010. The Club was founded on 8 November 1990 as Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo. It is one of the richest clubs in Mozambique.On July 19, 2014 the club was renamed from Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo to Liga Desportiva de Maputo
