Nintendo Direct (ニンテンドーダイレクト, Nintendō Dairekuto) is an online presentation produced anywhere from one to two months by Nintendo, where information regarding Nintendo content or Nintendo franchises is presented, such as information about games and consoles. There are different presenters depending on the region in which it airs. In Japan, Nintendo Direct was formally presented by Nintendo global president Satoru Iwata until his death on July 11, 2015.
