Lovitt Records is an independent record label that was founded in 1995 by Brian Lowit who was a student at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina at the time. In 1998, Lovitt Records relocated to Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C.The label has mostly worked with artists from Washington, D.C., Richmond, VA, Chicago, IL, and Chapel Hill, NC.
