Low Level Owl: Volume I is the third full-length album release from Lawrence, Kansas-based band the Appleseed Cast. The album was a departure from the heavy, distorted guitar-driven post-hardcore of their debut, The End of the Ring Wars and a progression from the layered, atmospheric, but still song-based follow-up Mare Vitalis.
