Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin (Tamil: மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் Mu.Ka. Sṭāliṉ; born 1 March 1953) is an Indian politician, better known as M. K. Stalin, who was Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu from 2009 to 2011. He was Mayor of Chennai from 1996 to 2002.Stalin is the third son of famous Tamil Nadu politician Karunanidhi, and was born to his second wife, Dayalu Ammal. Stalin completed his graduation in history from The New College, Chennai in University of Madras.
