Malindi Sport Club is a Zanzibar football club based in Unguja.For several years they played for the league championship of Tanzanian mainland, as winners of Zanzibar regional tournament. After achieving some national titles, the team started playing for the Zanzibar Premier League in 2004 when the Zanzibar became an independent member of CAF, so they their own representation in the continental club cups.
