María Isbert (21 April 1917 – 25 April 2011) was a Spanish actress whose credits included more than 250 Spanish films during her career. Isbert worked with most major Spanish film actors and directors, including Luis García Berlanga and Luis Buñuel. Isbert, whose credits included films, television and theater work, was most active from the 1960s to the 1980s.Isbert was born in Madrid, Spain, on 21 April 1917.
