Marcus Darrel Ginyard (born May 8, 1987) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Panionios of the Greek Basket League. He played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels after a high school career at Bishop Denis J. O'Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia. Ginyard’s role as a defensive stopper became his forte for the Tar Heels after his arrival. He has also previously played in Germany, Israel, Poland and Ukraine.
