Mark Burstein is a U.S. academic administrator who is the 16th president of Lawrence University, succeeding Jill Beck. He took office on July 1, 2013. Prior to that, he was an Executive Vice President at Princeton University, where he started in 2004. Prior to Princeton, Burstein worked at Columbia University where he was the Vice President for Facilities Management, Vice President for Student Services and Acting Vice President for Human Resources.
