Markus Peter Großkopf (born 21 September 1965 in Hamburg, Germany) is a German musician and songwriter, best known as the bass guitarist, backing vocalist and founding member of power metal band Helloween, and one of only two remaining original members, the other being Michael Weikath. Markus Grosskopf's family members currently live in South Africa, Canada, the United States, and Germany.
