Marlands is an unincorporated community in the town of Lac du Flambeau, Vilas County, Wisconsin, United States. Marlands is located on the eastern shore of Fence Lake 4 miles (6.4 km) east-southeast of the community of Lac du Flambeau.The Marlands get its name from the famous Mars family which built a large timber lodge there, complete with a private boat channel and a number of cottages. The lodge burned down in the 1970s.
