Marouan Kechrid (born June 2, 1981) is a Tunisian - French basketball player currently playing for IR Tanger in the Moroccan Basketball League after spending the first five years of his career with Tunisian side Kairouan JS.Kechrid is a member of the Tunisia national basketball team that finished third at the 2009 FIBA Africa Championship to qualify for the country's first FIBA World Championship. Kechrid averaged 9.8 PPG and 1.9 RPG for the Tunisians during the tournament.
