Maryanne Ito is an American soul singer, songwriter, and performer based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Blending genres such as neo soul, soul, hip hop, jazz, and R&B, she has been writing and performing since 2006 and collaborating with musicians such as Slapp Symphony and DJ Bennie James. In 2014 she released her debut album Waking Up, which peaked at No. 4 on the UK Soul Chart.
