Matthew F. Jones, is an American novelist and screenwriter who grew up in rural upstate New York. Jones’s work has been translated into a number of foreign languages and widely praised by critics for its taut, unsparing style and complexity and richness of its characters. Three of his novels have been made into major motion pictures.
