Matthew Thomas Fitzpatrick (born 1 September 1994) is an English professional golfer who made the cut at the 2013 Open Championship and finished as low amateur. At the 2013 Open Championship, Fitzpatrick and Jimmy Mullen were the only amateurs to make the cut. In addition, Fitzpatrick was awarded The Silver Medal for being the low amateur finishing up at +10, 294 to Mullen's 299 (+15).
