Merritt College is a two-year community college located in the Oakland Hills section of Oakland in Alameda County, California. The school's enrollment is approximately 6,000 students. The college is named after physician Dr. Samuel Merritt.The college, in addition to the other three campuses of the Peralta College District, is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
