Metroland Media Group, is a large media, publishing and distribution company operating in the southern part of the Canadian province of Ontario. As of June 2014, Metroland reported publishing 116 local newspapers. Three of these are daily papers, with the balance being weekly community newspapers. Metroland has a substantial market presence in its geographic area, but has considerable competition from other large media and publishing organisations.
