Mianyang (simplified Chinese: 绵阳; traditional Chinese: 綿陽; pinyin: Miányáng) is the second largest prefecture-level city of Sichuan province in Southwest China. Its population was 4,613,871 at the 2010 census covering an area of 20,267.46 square kilometres (7,825.31 sq mi) consisting of Jiangyou, a county-level city, six counties and two urban districts.
